About the Founder:
Shamari is an educator with a passion for children and families. She works as a Special Education teacher in the thriving Alief Community of Houston, Texas. Shamari believes that a quality education is a melting pot of academic excellence, social experiences and educators with the desire to fulfill a promise to ensure the well-being of children and the support needed for their families.
A local of Clarksville, TN, Shamari has always desired to embark on a career that serviced children with a disability. Her dream became a reality in the Fall of 2018 when she began her teaching career. Shamari is committed to fulfilling her promise of support and guidance for children and their families throughout their educational journey.

The S.P.O.T.'s Mission: We aim to provide accessible, individual, and continuous support for the families of school-aged children and young adults. We take pride in creating an environment and structure of resources that are both inviting and stimulating for every family. In order to make this possible, we understand, it takes a village.
